You will probably be aware that the UK honey bee population is in decline.
In partnership with Shipston Beekeepers and in accord with our aim to encourage and foster the successful growing of food crops by local communities for local consumption, we are seeking funding to set up an apiary of some six hives as a teaching resource and to train / support rural communities in the keeping of bees for pollination. As an added bonus, we are hoping for a honey crop too!
